The Muslim Educational Society, a non-political socio-educational-cultural organization, registered under Societies Registration Act, was established in the year 1964. The M E S is the largest corporate agency of the Muslims in India, managing more than 150 educational institutions. M E S Central School was established in 1990 under the auspices of the Muslim Educational Society and managed by the M E S Valanchery Unit. The school was named after a highly prominent personality of the area, Dr. N K Mohammed; a physician, a philanthropist and above all, an M E S leader. We adopted the Montessori system of education for classes up to 3rd in 2007 and named it after Dr. Jamal, another eminent personality in Valanchery. The school has completed twenty five glorious years in the path of providing the light of education to generations in Valanchery and had its Silver Jubilee celebrations in all its majesty.
